1. About This Policy

ApotheCode Pty Ltd (ABN: 39 696 404 396, ACN: 696 404 396) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with this website and our services. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information.

This policy applies to the website at apothecode.com.au and any related communications.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

  • Name and email address (via contact form)
  • Company or organisation name (optional, via contact form)
  • Project or engagement details provided in contact form messages
  • Anonymous usage data via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers)

We do not collect sensitive information as defined under the Privacy Act 1988.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected via the contact form is used solely to:

  • Respond to enquiries and assess project fit
  • Communicate regarding proposed or active engagements

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing purposes.

4. Analytics

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites. No consent banner is required for Plausible. Aggregate usage data is used to understand site traffic and improve the site.

5. Disclosure of Information

We use the following third-party services that may receive your personal information:

  • Formspree (formspree.io) — processes contact form submissions. Your name, email address, and message are transmitted to Formspree's servers, which are located in the United States.
  • Calendly (calendly.com) — used for booking consultations. When you use the booking page, Calendly independently collects your name, email address, and scheduling information. This data is processed in the United States and is subject to Calendly's own privacy policy. Calendly's embedded widget may also use cookies or local storage in your browser.
  • Google Workspace — contact form submissions and enquiry emails are received and managed via Google Workspace. Google's infrastructure processes and stores this email correspondence.
  • Plausible Analytics (plausible.io) — used for aggregate website traffic analytics. Plausible does not collect personal data or use cookies.

By using the contact form or booking page, you acknowledge that your information may be processed by these overseas recipients (United States; European Union for Plausible). We take reasonable steps to use services with appropriate privacy practices, but note that Australian Privacy Law may not govern how overseas recipients handle your information once received.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any other third parties. We may disclose information where required by law or regulation.

6. Data Security and Retention

Contact form submissions are encrypted in transit via Formspree and delivered to a Google Workspace email account accessible only to ApotheCode Pty Ltd personnel. Booking information submitted through Calendly is retained within Calendly's platform. We do not maintain a separate database of personal information collected through this website.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to respond to enquiries and conduct any resulting engagement. Where no engagement proceeds, contact data is not retained beyond the conclusion of initial correspondence.

7. Access and Correction

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us at contact@apothecode.com.au.

8. Complaints and Contact

Privacy enquiries should be directed to contact@apothecode.com.au.

If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy complaint, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
